This week, I had a strong realization that I was addicted to technology. Now, I have always known I stress out when emails don't work and often thought it wasn't normal to feel compelled to check my email in the middle of the night.

Recently, I had a meeting with another Membership driven organization. They called and requested I come to their office. Now, I don't have time to be sold too. If that was what it was about, then I would have asked them to come to me or sent someone from my office to gather the information and bring it back for me to review. Its not that I am too good...it is that I am too busy! But they specifically stated the President wanted to meet me, so politically, I thought it might be good to get to know them. I hesitantly obliged their request and took time out of my busy schedule.

 We often think about how true those sayings are when we put on our best suit for a job interview or for an important business transaction or when we get dressed up for an awards banquet or even a first date. But what image are you portraying, when you don't think anyone is looking?

As I watched tv last night, I saw a commercial that flashed an old friend before my eyes.   It made me laugh, not because it was funny, but at the surreal  thought that an appliance can make you a magical Mom, somewhat of a super women. You see, I graduated high school with Marc Consuelos (Kelly Ripa's husband.)

Recently, we were at a friend's house and my daughter was climbing up the ladder and as she stepped each rung was broken. It was visually comical watching her strive to reach the top.

The other day, I was speaking with a fabulous WOAMTEC women. She was sharing with me that she aspired to go back to college and pursue her dream of getting an accounting degree.
